Now firmly established on the gastronomy circuit of Mallorca, Palma's celebration of the spanish tapas (small portions of food), TaPalma takes place once again this year. A little later than usual, the tapas fest runs from 31st October until 3rd of November inclusive and displays some good planning as for many people this is a 'puente' or long weekend, as 1st November has been a public holiday.

A total of 36 bars are involved this year and can be visited in four routes - Santa Catalina, Centre, La Lonja, Plaza de Espana - and a 'between routes' route, just for good measure. There's a PDF of the routes, establishments and tapas which can be downloaded from the Town Hall's Website.
