Signature Group welcomes 2020 with the installation of a new modular project in Mallorca!
Following the successful installation, inauguration and sale of the first premium modular home “Gregal” in 2019 in Santa Ponsa, Signature Group has enthusiastically stepped into the new year with the implantation of a new project. This time, a more complex one due to the topography of the plot of land where it has been installed, located in Costa de la Calma.
he location of the “Nuvola” project is in Costa de la Calma, which is part of the municipality of Calvia, placed between Peguera and Santa Ponça and within 25 minutes distance from the centre of Palma, and 30 minutes from the Son Sant Joan airport. As the name of the village suggests, it is a quiet and tranquil place that offers stunning views of the Mediterranean sea, and in some parts of the Tramuntana mountain range. “Nuvola” benefits of both.
n total, there were 10 modules that were carefully and precisely shifted from each lorry bed to the premade foundation on the site. A nerve racking task that lasted approximately 8 hours from start to finish, but executed with maximum of professionalism and expertise by all the teams involved in the process.
As with every modular house we build, the kitchen and all bathrooms had come ready equipped, so it is quite a sight to see a fully kitted bathroom go from a truck onto its place in the house, almost ready to be used.
The new project, called “Nuvola” has been in the making since early 2019, when all preliminary works prior its execution have started. Opposite to traditional construction, a modular prefabricated home will always have a closed price due to the fact that it will be built in a closed and private space, shielded from any environmental agents, and that there won’t be any supply chain related issues when it comes to materials and other construction elements as these will be purchased and stored within the same premises of where the project is being put together.
The project has a surface of 450 square meters distributed over 2 floors below street level, the access to the home being made through the floor -1, and it is sitting on a 1300 square meter steep plot
Comprised of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one bedroom being on the same level with the day areas such as kitchen, dining room and living room from where the sea views can be enjoyed. On the same level we find the terrace and pool.
The project is expected to be completed after all architectural landscape works will be concluded in the first quarter of 2020.
